At the "MITT-2025" international tourism fair, the "Uzbekistan" national stand was organized by the Tourism Committee and the "National PR Center" to showcase the country’s tourism potential at a high level.
Representatives of eight travel companies operating in Uzbekistan, the national airline "Uzbekistan Airways," as well as tourism departments of Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Tashkent, and Navoi regions, along with Tashkent city, participated in the event. As a result, more than 100 agreements were reached.
Uzbekistan's stand became one of the most visited at the exhibition. On the first day, national dances were performed at the stand dedicated to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and culture, and detailed information was provided on various types of tourism. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the rich culture and history of the Uzbek people.
It is noteworthy that, due to its ancient history and rich cultural heritage, Uzbekistan is among the top 10 most popular destinations for Russian tourists.
MITT is an international exhibition of tourism and hospitality that has been held in Moscow for 30 years. It is one of the largest and most significant B2B events in the tourism industry, bringing together specialists from around the world every year.
Additionally, this year’s exhibition saw an increased interest in Uzbekistan’s eco-tourism, adventure tourism, and gastronomic experiences. Many visitors expressed their desire to explore the country’s Silk Road heritage, historical landmarks, and unique Uzbek cuisine, further solidifying Uzbekistan’s status as a premier travel destination in the region.
